This is one of the best Cd’s ZZ Top has dropped to date. seven years ago, ZZ Top briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Lovething”. I am not a real Rock: Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Recycler’ really is amazing. Recycler is not something you should pass up.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Lovething from the beginning to the end. Penthouse Eyes - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of ZZ Top. Tell It the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Voice of ZZ Top in My Head’s In Mississippi is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Decision Or Collision marked the continuation of ZZ Top in style evolution. Give It Up - A classic ZZ Top track. 2000 Blues is the albums biggest surprise. As always, ZZ Top’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Doubleback without a doubt is the standout song of Recycler.
