After seeing Al luna park, I had to have a good ZECCHINO D ORO cd. This is the first studio album from ZECCHINO D ORO since bad diagnosis in 1991. While no new ZECCHINO D ORO album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1991 tour in Asia. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Although Bambinissimi pap is very melodic it is far from sad. Bolle di sapone is worth the money. Voice of ZECCHINO D ORO in Frund amico ani is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. First time I heard Il corsaro nero andato in pensione was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Il mio dentino dondola is probably the highlight of the album. What sets Il piu grande motore apart is ZECCHINO D ORO’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Get 34 Zecchino D’ Oro and turn on La Rosella if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Monta in mountain is absolutely incredible. Padre celeste is a strong cut, one of many. Pesci bimbi e draghi is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Sette matitine is a good listen every once in a while.
