YOUTH BRIGADE had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of YOUTH BRIGADE on ‘All Style, No Substance’. Since YOUTH BRIGADE last CD (Happy Hour) on Mute Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Happy Hour constantly brilliant.
Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. It’s such an underrated song. Guns Are For… - A nice song. Music in Let Me Be is marvelous as in all tracks of Happy Hour. Vocals of YOUTH BRIGADE in It’s Not Enough really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. The opening track It Just Doesn’t Matter is very much like you would expect from other albums. Wanted is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Opening track Volare shows the best of YOUTH BRIGADE. Sad But True without a doubt is the standout song of Happy Hour. This Is A Life is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Deep Inside Of Me - Check out that bassline! Shoulda Stayed Home [bonus] is astounding.
