It has been eight years Yo La Tengo’ last studio CD, “Electr-O-Pura” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Yo La Tengo had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Yo La Tengo, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I wish that “Electr-O-Pura” album was instrumental.
Flying Lesson (Hot Chicken #1) is the funkiest number on the album. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Yo La Tengo. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. False Ending - For me, this is the best of the album. Strong, powerful vocals of Yo La Tengo in Pablo And Andrea are very impressive. You have to get essence of the Paul Is Dead’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Yo La Tengo has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. The Ballad Of Red Buckets is a very catchy tune. Don’t Say A Word (Hot Chicken #2) is one of the best records ever. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Opening track My Heart’s Reflection shows the best of Yo La Tengo. Attack On Love is possibly the best song Yo La Tengo has come up. Blue Line Swinger is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better.
