It has been sixteen years Yello’ last studio CD, “Essential” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is no doubt that Yello has talent. Lead single “Oh Yeah” and “The Race” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
A great put together song. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Rubberbandman make listening to Yello like being in some sort of time warp. Vicious Games is a cool, simple song by Yello at the top of his game. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Tied Up. One listen to the sheer beauty of Lost Again was all I needed. I Love You (4:10) a good melody. Of Course I’m Lying is a very catchy tune. Pinball Cha Cha is a medium tempo tune. Some call Bostich from Essential as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Yello allows each song to breathe and flourish. Jungle Bill - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I’ve found myself listening to The Rhythm Divine back to back and back many times.
