Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of X Wild on ‘Can’t Tame The Wild’. On the France charts, superstar X Wild’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. On So What! album, X Wild have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. So What! is the best essence of X Wild.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of X Wild. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Scarred To The Bone, which shows, blatantly, how much X Wild has evolved as a singer. Wild Frontier presents the exquisite mix of instruments on So What!. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Sky Bolter. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in So What!. Kid Racer - For me, this is the best of the album. What sets Into The Light apart is X Wild’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I like Freeway Devil because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Mystica Deamonica gives good insight into the truths. The song feels complete. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
