It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Wolfsheim energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘No Happy View’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. No Happy View isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Wolfsheim “No Happy View” is an amazing album.
Following You sets the tone for the entire album. Annie is one of these floating songs. Leading Men - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Excellent vocals and musical performances. The Sparrows and The Nightingales is outstanding work of Wolfsheim. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Angry Today. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Although Listen! is very melodic it is far from sad.
