Since completing 1993’s ‘Cell Of Fame’, Wishbone Ash fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. ‘Raw To The Bone’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Wishbone Ash’s debut, ‘Raw To The Bone’, does not fit easily into one genre. Raw To The Bone is not something you should pass up.
People In Motion is pretty funky and mellow. Vocals of Wishbone Ash in Don’t Cry really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Love Is Blue is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Raw To The Bone have ended. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Rocket In My Pocket hits the heart. It’s Only Love sets the tone for the entire album. Once you hear Don’t You Mess, you will listen to it over and over. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The song Perfect Timing ending is my favorite… so catchy!
