Since completing 1993’s ‘Water from a Vine Leaf’, William Orbit fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Check it every song is worth the money for the Strange Cargo lll CD!
Into the Paradise is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This track is a great song that still never gets old. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Some call A Touch of the Night from Strange Cargo lll as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. The sound of The Story of the Light is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Gringatcho Demento is perfect. A fantastic track full of wonder. Best Friend, Paranoia has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets William Orbit’s strong vocals come to the fore. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Deux Ex Machina is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Water Babies is almost impossible to review.
