This disc has all of the essential William Orbit classics. On Strange Cargo Hinterland album, William Orbit have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
William Orbit has astounded me with this amazing track. Lost In Blue is one of the best records ever. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. As always, William Orbit’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Crimes Of The Future has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Listening to Ei Ninjo you can hear that William Orbit has still amazing chemistry with band members. Kiss Of The Bee has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Hulaville gives good insight into the truths. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I can’t stop playing Million Town.
