There were many famous songs of William Orbit available. This is the first studio album from William Orbit since bad diagnosis in 1995. Since completing 1995’s ‘Turning Ground’, William Orbit fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Spirit.
Moorlough Shore is a great opener for Spirit. Dream Of Picasso - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Forget The Few - William Orbit first major hit. Lagan Love is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. The first time I listened to A Case Of You I was struck by its cool sound. Waiting For Rain is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Lyrics of Desire are precise and evocative. The Island - This is a very lively song. Sleep Now I just LOVE this mix! Put Sheherazade into car stereo for your highway driving
