This is one of the best Cd’s Vivaldi, Antonio has dropped to date. Vengo a voi, luci adorate, RV 682 (Catherine Bott-soprano, New London Consort con.Philipp Pickett) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Self-described as Classical with lots of words, Vivaldi, Antonio comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
After about the third Portando in sen l’ardor listen through, I began to believe this song is Vivaldi, Antonio’s essence.
