Since completing 1994’s ‘Raag Des-Alaap, Vilambit, Drut-Rachana Teen Taal’, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album has some very good songs like Raag Des-Alaap, Vilambit, Drut-Rachana Teen Taal and Rajasthani Folk-Kesariya Balam-Dadra Taal. eleven years ago, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Rajasthani Folk-Kesariya Balam-Dadra Taal”. If I may, I suggest “Raag Des-Alaap, Vilambit, Drut-Rachana Teen Taal”. That one song is amazing!
Vishwa Mohan Bhatt is one of artists that allow his songs like Rajasthani Folk-Kesariya Balam-Dadra Taal to stand on their own and be heard. Raag Megh Malhar-Alaap, Rachna Vilambit-Dhamar Taal & Dhrut Teen Taal is one of the best records ever. Raag Sarang-Rachana-Kaharva Taal - a classic song. Raag Kirvani-Rachana-Kaharva Taal makes a person feel perfect.
