Lead single “A Symphony Of Steele” and “Crown Of Glory” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. ‘The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell, Part Two’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. On The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell, Part Two album, Virgin Steele have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Crown Of Glory
Crown Of Glory to me is the best you can get from Virgin Steele. I can’t stop playing From Chaos To Creation. Twilight Of The Gods presents the marvelous mix of instruments on The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell, Part Two. Rising Unchained is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell, Part Two couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Transfiguration. In Prometheus The Fallen One the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Emalaith can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Virgin Steele is all about. Strawgirl is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Devil/Angel is a great opener for The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell, Part Two. Unholy Water is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Virgin Steele is one of artists that allow his songs like Victory Is Mine to stand on their own and be heard. The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell Revisited the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe.
