Since Vika Cyganova last CD (Angel moy) on Savoy Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of the best Cd’s Vika Cyganova has dropped to date. After seeing Angel moy, I had to have a good Vika Cyganova cd. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Brat’ia slaviane is exquisite work of Vika Cyganova. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Vika Cyganova. I can’t stop playing Cerkov’ belaia. Vika Cyganova has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Ded SHukar’ is a marvelous, simple song by Vika Cyganova at the top of his game. I’ve found myself listening to Eh, raz back to back and back many times. Grozd’ia riabiny was the first single release from the album Angel moy. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. All of songs on Angel moy and have something to say letting alone Mamasha zhizn’. Ochi chernye is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Russkaia vodka is the more seemingly obscure song on Angel moy that bear up best to repeated listening. Schast’e bylo is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music.
