It’s natural for Vidna Obmana and PBK to take a stab at ‘Neo-Noir’ considering her long-professed love for U2. Memories Compiled 1 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On Memories Compiled 1 album, Vidna Obmana and PBK have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is one of Vidna Obmana and PBK best albums
Exhaust Dark Crown - I just love it. When listening to Momentary Stillness, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. I can’t stop humming along The Fall Of Romantic Simplicity. Insects To Harmony is a great opener for Memories Compiled 1. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Closing is a song to enjoy for years to come. Isolation / Refuge is Vidna Obmana and PBK’s best work in years. The opening track Dazzling Array 1 is very much like you would expect from other albums. A unique and uplifting song. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Once Before Mutual Grace gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Upon Steel Heaven sets the tone for the entire album. Dazzling Array 3 gives good insight into the truths. Reflecting Deep Stars catches attention immediately, Into Gray Divides is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I find myself hearing bits of Gathering In Frozen Beauty here and there throughout my waking hours.
