fifteen years ago, Ved Buens Ende briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Carrier Of Wounds”. Ved Buens Ende was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ved Buens Ende and Those Who Caress The Pale together. Those Who Caress The Pale isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
I find myself hearing bits of The Carrier Of Wounds here and there throughout my waking hours. In You That May Wither you won’t find any flashy solos. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I can’t stop humming along Those Who Caress The Pale. Insects (Part I; Bonus) is the first taste of the new album.
