two years ago, Varttina briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Kamaritski”. Now signed to Varttina’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Oi Dai” leads Varttina’s back-to-school campaign. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Varttina has. Oi Dai is not something you should pass up.
This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Viikon Vaivane the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Marilaulu - A classic Varttina track. Once you hear Ukko Lumi, you will listen to it over and over. Album opener Vot Vot Ja Niin Niin is a bright, upbeat ditty. Tupa Tynno Tuppasuita is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Oi Dai is one of the best records ever. Tantsukolena motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Kiiriminna is one of my favorite songs by Varttina. This song stands out greatly from the others.
