This is one of the best Cd’s Various Artists has dropped to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and The inevitable together. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Various Artists ever.
Danny Diamond - This one makes me want to not only sing along. I’ve Found A New Baby gets you up and jumping. I like to sing along with Anything But Love, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Good Enough For Granddad is possibly the best song Various Artists has come up. So much energy, so exciting a sound.La Grippe is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Lugubrious Whing Whang is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Club Limbo I just LOVE this mix! Wash Jones is another strong production from Various Artists. After you’ve listened to You’re Drivin’ Me Crazy, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Plenty More has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Various Artists’s strong vocals come to the fore.
