Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Ken Lazlo - Best of Italo Disco Collection together. one years ago, Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “U.S.S.R (Eddy Huntington)”. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Various Artists. Ken Lazlo - Best of Italo Disco Collection is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
U.S.S.R (Eddy Huntington) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Various Artists. Various Artists emotions are reflected through Pulstar (Hipnosis). It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Hey, Hey, Guy (Ken Lazlo), which shows, blatantly, how much Various Artists has evolved as a singer. Chinese Revenge (Koto) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Lady Fantasy (Max Him) - My least favorite song on this album. It’s such an underrated song. Happy Childern (P.Lion) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Boys (Sabrina) is a striking and quite long song. Don’t Cry Tonight (Savage) is the song that really did it for me. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Get Closer (Valerie Dore) is one of these floating songs.
