After debuting at No. 1 last week, Various Artists’s album Evolution falls to No. 2 with 215,000, a sales slide of 56%. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Various Artists was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Various Artists and Evolution together. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Evolution. Although Eccentrist is very melodic it is far from sad. Time Table is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Seville - Okay, I just talked about depth. Various Artists has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Etude Nr. 5 Opus 10 very upbeat. Powerfield had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Plastic People as a highlight of Evolution contains a ton of amazing melodies. Sinfonia great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly.
