On Bizarre fruit 2 album, Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Various Artists’s debut, ‘Bizarre fruit 2′, does not fit easily into one genre. After seeing Sight For Sore Eyes, I had to have a good Various Artists cd. Various Artists “Bizarre fruit 2″ is an amazing album.
Search For The Hero - I like this one. Open Your Heart great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This song stands out greatly from the others. Once Precious Pearl gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Sugar Town is one of the coolest songs Various Artists has ever recorded. I was truly moved when I heard Walk Away. I can’t stop humming along Drive Time. Padlock is the more seemingly obscure song on Bizarre fruit 2 that bear up best to repeated listening. And Finally actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Various Artists’s face.
