Blade Runner - Gongo (Bootleg) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It has been seven years Vangelis’ last studio CD, “Blade Runner - Gongo (Bootleg)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On Blade Runner - Gongo (Bootleg) album, Vangelis have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Vangelis ever.
Titlurile Si Prologurile Principale - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I’ve found myself listening to Los Angeles, Noiembrie, 2019 back to back and back many times. Intilnirea Lui Deckard Cu Rachel have really caught my ear and imagination. Charming song, great melody. Amintirile Verdelui is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Tristetile Lui Blade Runner is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. The opening track Visul Lui Deckard is very much like you would expect from other albums. La Procesul Lui Nexus 6 (voice By Demis Roussos) sets the tone for the entire album. Inca Un Sarut, Draga is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Tema Iubirii is worth the money. Vangelis sings Fiul Multiubit Aduce Moartea in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Blimpvert - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. I listened to the opening track Lacrimi In Ploaie and liked it a lot. The song feels complete.
