After seeing Against the Odds, I had to have a good Uriah Heep cd. It’s natural for Uriah Heep to take a stab at ‘Against the Odds’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. This disc has all of the essential Uriah Heep classics. Such great and happy songs.
In Sweet Sugar the music gets its power. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Mistress of All Time is nothing but pure genius. Universal Wheels is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Spirit of Freedom still maintains something of a specific flourish. Logical Progression without a doubt is the standout song of Sea Of Light. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Sea Of Light. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Dream on is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
