thirteen years ago, Unsane briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Straight”. Now signed to Unsane’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Total Destruction” leads Unsane’s back-to-school campaign. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Unsane’s album Total Destruction falls to No. 2 with 976,000, a sales slide of 85%. I wish that “Total Destruction” album was instrumental.
Straight is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Black Book is a striking and quite long song. Trench - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. When I listen to Dispatched in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Broke - A classic Unsane track. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Wayne is a very catchy tune. A fantastic track full of wonder. S.O.S. - I just love it. 455 (2:36) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
