Since Ugly Kid Joe last CD (Menace To Sobriety) on Columbia Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. This disc has all of the essential Ugly Kid Joe classics. It has been six years Ugly Kid Joe’ last studio CD, “Menace To Sobriety” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
God great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Tomorrows World - A strong beat. Song Clover is actually a funny song. C.U.S.T. is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Milkman’s Son is the song that really did it for me. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Cloudy Skies - Ugly Kid Joe first major hit. Jesus Rode A Harley is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. 10/10 is a marvelous song and it grows on you. V.I.P. is astounding work of Ugly Kid Joe. Some of the arrangements found on Menace To Sobriety are surprisingly edgy. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Slower Than Nowhere is simple, dignified and effective, Ugly Kid Joe refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
