Now signed to U96’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Das Boot” leads U96’s back-to-school campaign. Das Boot carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is the first studio album from U96 since bad diagnosis in 1992. To me U96 is the best band ever.
Come 2 Gether is almost impossible to review. Der Kommandant as a highlight of Das Boot contains a ton of amazing melodies. The song feels complete. Art Of U96 is absolutely incredible. I Wanna Be A Kennedy has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Ambient Underworld is my favorite song on Das Boot. If you are a U96 fan, you will love Sporty Animal-Loving Extrovert. In Sonar Sequences U96 spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Das Boot (Klassik Version) - U96 first major hit.
