It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Trisha Yearwood energies, virtually a rebirth. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Trisha Yearwood’s album Sweatest Gift falls to No. 2 with 184,000, a sales slide of 97%. This album has some very good songs like Sweet Little Jesus Boy and Reindeer Boogie. I wish that “Sweatest Gift” album was instrumental.
Some of the arrangements found on Sweatest Gift are surprisingly edgy. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. It Wasn’t His Child I just LOVE this mix! Away in a Manger stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. I can’t stop playing The Sweetest Gift. New Kid In Town is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Sweatest Gift have ended. Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!(1) is perfect song though, very addictive. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
