nine years ago, Travis Tritt briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Anymore”. I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Travis Tritt - Greatest Hits: From the Beginning’ really is amazing. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Travis Tritt’s new album to that on ‘Travis Tritt - Greatest Hits: From the Beginning’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Overall, I would highly recommend Travis Tritt - Greatest Hits: From the Beginning CD.
It took me a little time but I ended up loving Anymore. I was truly moved when I heard Put Some Drive In Your Country. Travis Tritt emotions are reflected through Foolish Pride. The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’ (2:41) a good melody. Help Me Hold On is probably the highlight of the album. Drift Off To Dream is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. I listened to the opening track Ten Feet Tall & Bulletproof and liked it a lot. Sometimes She Forgets is a song to enjoy for years to come. Can I Trust You With My Heart is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. The sound of Country Club is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This song may be the most meaningful. T-r-o-u-b-l-e is Travis Tritt’s best work in years. Only You (And You Alone) is marvelous and different song. Travis Tritt sings I’m Gonna Be Somebody in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
