Toto was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Toto and Tambu together. three years ago, Toto briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “I Will Remember”. ‘Tambu’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Toto is one of my favourite bands of all time.
I Will Remember the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Slipped Away is outstanding work of Toto. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is If You Belong To Me because the melody in the chorus is so good. Baby He S Your Man hits the heart. From the moment you listen to The Other End Of Time you’re hooked. The Turning Point is probably the highlight of the album. Time Is The Enemy one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Drag Him To The Roof is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Dave’s Gone Skiing is Toto’s best work in years. The Road Goes On is the albums biggest surprise.
