Since Tito Gomez last CD (Agradecimiento) on Savoy Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. On Agradecimiento album, Tito Gomez have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1993’s ‘Para Volver a Querer’, Tito Gomez fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I wish that “Agradecimiento” album was instrumental.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Tito Gomez’s vocal abilities. Pagina del Amor stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. No Me Pongas la Cara one is one of the better boring ones. En Secreto - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Colombia Entera is a medium tempo tune. I like the idea behind Nuestro Amor. Extra - A catchy, upbeat tune. Te Mereces la Gloria - My least favorite song on this album.
