After debuting at No. 1 last week, Throbbing Gristle’s album Giftgas falls to No. 2 with 643,000, a sales slide of 87%. This album has some very good songs like As It Is… and Exit. Lead single “As It Is…” and “Exit” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Exit hits the heart. First time I heard Lucifer was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Jehovah - I just love it. Satan is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Christ is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. So Be It… is a gorgeous sing-along.
