Since completing 1995’s ‘I’m Getting Sentimental Over You’, Thelonious Monk Quartet fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album has some very good songs like I’m Getting Sentimental Over You and Well You Needn’t. Thelonious Monk Quartet “Live At Monterey Jazz Festival CD1″ is an amazing album.
