Who’s Next is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This disc has all of the essential The Who classics. Since completing 1995’s ‘Baba O’Riley’, The Who fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. To me The Who is the best band ever.
Bargain is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Love Ain’t For Keeping is a very catchy tune. My Wife is perfect. The Who breathes new life into the music in The Song Is Over. Voice and instruments in Getting In Tune complement each other. Going Mobile is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I listened to the opening track Won’t Get Fooled Again and liked it a lot. I love the melodic melody of Pure And Easy and to this day it makes me feel good. Baby Don’t You Do It is almost impossible to review. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Put Water into car stereo for your highway driving Too Much Of Anything (4:25) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! The Who has astounded me with this amazing track. Behind Blue Eyes is so unique, as each one of the songs is.
