‘The Very Best of the Undertones’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing Teenage Kicks, I had to have a good The Undertones cd. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Undertones’S SONG GO FOR IT! The Very Best of the Undertones constantly brilliant.
Family Entertainment is one of these floating songs. This song stands out greatly from the others. Girls Don’t Like It is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Here Comes the Summer presents the amazing mix of instruments on The Very Best of the Undertones. Jimmy Jimmy (2:42) - awsome. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Very Best of the Undertones. Mars Bars pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Let’s Talk About Girls. My Perfect Cousin is absolutely incredible. The Undertones sings his heart out in The Ways Girls Talk. I can’t stop playing Tearproof. More Songs About Chocolate and Girls the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Hypnotised is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Wednesday Week one is one of the better boring ones. The Positive Touch actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Undertones’s face. Get The Very Best of the Undertones and turn on You’re Welcome if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Once It’s Going to Happen gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Julie Ocean motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Nice and different song. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of The Undertones. A unique and uplifting song. Soul Seven is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Casbah Rock as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
