While no new The Stone Roses album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Asia. This album has some very good songs like So Young and Tell Me. The Complete Stone Roses carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Such great and happy songs.
You have to get essence of the Tell Me’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Vocals of The Stone Roses in Sally Cinnamon really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. All Across The Sands is a striking and quite long song. Elephant Stone - This one is lively and fun. You can find feelings on this piece of art. The Hardest Thing In The World is the more seemingly obscure song on The Complete Stone Roses that bear up best to repeated listening. The Stone Roses has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Going Down, which shows, blatantly, how much The Stone Roses has evolved as a singer. When I listen to She Bangs The Drums in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. What sets Mersey Paradise apart is The Stone Roses’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Standing Here catches attention immediately, I Wanna Be Adored is The Stone Roses’s best work in years. Waterfall is one of the coolest songs The Stone Roses has ever recorded. I Am The Resurrection on The Complete Stone Roses is solid and easy to listen to. Where Angels Play is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Fools Gold is worth the money. This song may be the most meaningful. Something Burning - This one makes me want to not only sing along. One Love motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others.
