Now signed to The Shamen’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “Boss Drum” leads The Shamen’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Shamen on ‘Boss Drum’. The Shamen had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album is awesome.
L.S.I - Love Sex Intelligence is perfect. Space Time is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Librae Solidi Denari - I like this one. Ebeneezer Goode Beatmasters Mi is the funkiest number on the album. Voice of The Shamen in Comin’ On is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. The opening track Phorever People is very much like you would expect from other albums. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I like to sing along with Scientas, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of The Shamen. I hope to keep hearing The Shamen works for a long time to come. Phorever Dub gives good insight into the truths.
