Now signed to The QUEERS’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “A Day Late And A Dollar Short” leads The QUEERS’s back-to-school campaign. This is one of the best Cd’s The QUEERS has dropped to date. There were many famous songs of The QUEERS available. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like A Day Late And A Dollar Short.
Terminal Rut gets you up and jumping. I have all of The QUEERS’s tracks and Fagtown is probably the most his introspective effort. I Want Cunt has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The QUEERS’s strong vocals come to the fore. Lyrics of Trash This Place are precise and evocative. Love Me great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Kicked Out of the Webelos was the first single release from the album A Day Late And A Dollar Short. Tuly is a Wimp is another strong production from The QUEERS. Music of At The Mall is gentle, never overbearing. The QUEERS breathes new life into the music in I Spent The Rent. ID3 not present is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. ID3 not present is absolutely incredible. This Place Sucks one is one of the better boring ones. Wimpy Drives Through Harlem is pretty funky and mellow. I Like Young Girls is beautiful, yet underrated track. Nuni In New York is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. In Nobody Likes Me The QUEERS spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I’ve found myself listening to Nothing To Do back to back and back many times. Nowhere At All motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Flesh For Tulu is another favourite of mine. Fuck You is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. After you’ve listened to Didn’t Want None, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Meat Wagon is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Don’t Puke - A classic The QUEERS track. Overall a nice softer song. Wimpy Drives Through Harlem is a bit different from The QUEERS stereotypical stuff. The QUEERS is hitting on all cylinders in ID3 not present. Gay Boy is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The QUEERS is one of artists that allow his songs like Too Many Twinkies to stand on their own and be heard. Best song on the album, love it. I Live This Life one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Live Broadcast WFMU 4/11/9? is the funkiest number on the album.
