Labcabincalifornia is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is one of the best Cd’s The Pharcyde has dropped to date. The Pharcyde’s debut, ‘Labcabincalifornia’, does not fit easily into one genre. The Pharcyde is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. The Hustle has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Moment In Time is a song to enjoy for years to come. It’s All Good! makes a person feel gorgeous. Voice of The Pharcyde in Hey You is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Still going through Labcabincalifornia and coming to appreciate Y? more and more with every listen. Some of the arrangements found on Labcabincalifornia are surprisingly edgy. All Live rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Somethin’ That Means Somethin’ is excellent song though, very addictive. In Splattitorium The Pharcyde spins a tale you want to hear to the end. The song feels complete. Runnin’ is a strong cut, one of many. Groupie Therapy is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Pharcyde - My least favorite song on this album. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Labcabincalifornia couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track The E.N.D.
