After seeing Pain, I had to have a good The Ohio Players cd. This is the first studio album from The Ohio Players since bad diagnosis in 1992. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Ohio Players on ‘Pain’. Pain constantly brilliant.
Never Had A Dream can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Ohio Players is all about. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of The Ohio Players. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Pain. The Reds is almost impossible to review. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
