This album has some very good songs like Amazing Grace and Ave Maria. ‘The Very Best…Over 10 Years’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lead single “Amazing Grace” and “Ave Maria” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I Love The Very Best…Over 10 Years from start to finish!
Ave Maria is one of these floating songs. Danny Boy is perfect. The Kelly Family is hitting on all cylinders in Es Waren Zwei Konigkinder. The song Greensleeves ending is my favorite… so catchy! Hiroshima,I’m Sorry has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Kelly Family’s strong vocals come to the fore. House On The Ocean - A classic The Kelly Family track. Key To My Heart hits the heart. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Let It Be. Let My People Go have really caught my ear and imagination. Ode To Joy make listening to The Kelly Family like being in some sort of time warp. I loved Old Mcdonald the first time I heard it. The first time I listened to Shenandoah I was struck by its amazing sound. Take My Hand is a great opener for The Very Best…Over 10 Years. The sound in The Rose is really warm and The Kelly Family’s signature voice is still very much present. Musically Who’ll Come With Me is superior to other tracks in The Very Best…Over 10 Years.
