I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Over The Hump’ really is amazing. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Kelly Family’S SONG GO FOR IT! Over The Hump isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This album is a scorcher!
Father’s Nose is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Voice of The Kelly Family in First Time is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Baby Smile can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Kelly Family is all about. Cover The Road still maintains something of a specific flourish. She’s Crazy is one of these floating songs. Ares qui is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. In Roses Of Red The Kelly Family spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Once In A While is beautiful, yet underrated track. I now have Break Free as one of my personal favorites. The first time I listened to An Angel I was struck by its excellent sound. The Wolf is almost impossible to review. In Santa Maria you won’t find any flashy solos.
