Since The DAMNED last CD (Live at Newcastle) on Columbia Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. After seeing Smash It Up (Part 2), I had to have a good The DAMNED cd. On the Hungary charts, superstar The DAMNED’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Smash It Up (Part 2) and Generals is really good.
Generals is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. The opening track Dozen Girls is very much like you would expect from other albums. Looking At You is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Ignite is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track The DAMNED ever produced. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. I like the idea behind Bad Time For Bonzo. New Rose - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The DAMNED. Love Song is one of the more up-tempo songs on Live at Newcastle. Smash It Up (Part 1) is really a nice song to relax and listen too.
