It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Blue Line, Robben Ford energies, virtually a rebirth. While no new The Blue Line, Robben Ford album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in South America. This is the first studio album from The Blue Line, Robben Ford since bad diagnosis in 1995. IT makes me wanna dance!
I came to like Chevrolet. In When I Leave Here the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. The Miller’s Son - A catchy, upbeat tune. Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Top Of The Hill as a highlight of Handful Of Blues contains a ton of amazing melodies. Running Out On Me (4:17) a good melody. Tired Of Talkin - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Good Thing is really the reason why I recommend buying Handful Of Blues. Think Twice is a bit of a show-tune. I Just Want To Make Love To You - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. One listen to the sheer beauty of Strong Will To Live was all I needed.
