This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Allman Brothers Band. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Allman Brothers Band on ‘Statesboro Blues’. This is one of the best Cd’s The Allman Brothers Band has dropped to date. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Fillmore Concerts (CD 1).
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Fillmore Concerts (CD 1) is Trouble No More. After few listenings I started to like Don’t Keep Me Wondering more and more. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Fillmore Concerts (CD 1) have ended. I like to sing along with One Way Out, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Done Somebody Wrong - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Stormy Monday without a doubt is the standout song of The Fillmore Concerts (CD 1). You Don’t Love Me is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
