Since completing 1995’s ‘Jamaican Jam’, Terry Marshall fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I am not a real New Age music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Our Younger Days’ really is amazing. There were many famous songs of Terry Marshall available. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Europa make listening to Terry Marshall like being in some sort of time warp. The opening track Our Younger Days is very much like you would expect from other albums. Jazz Soup is the album’s biggest hit, I think. New Life - a classic song. A great put together song. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Twice Around The Block is a very catchy tune. Nice and different song. Translucent is a amazing, simple song by Terry Marshall at the top of his game. High Days And Holidays - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
