Lead single “Alice what’s the matter” and “Oblivion” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Terrorvision on ‘Alice what’s the matter’. One of Terrorvision’s best albums yet.
Oblivion is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Stop the bus - a classic song. Discotheque wreck has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Middle man is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after How To Make Friends and Influence People have ended. Still the rhythm is another favourite of mine. Ten shades of grey (3:03) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! In Stab in the back Terrorvision is at his best. When listening to Pretend best friend, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Time o’ the signs is a striking and quite long song. What the doctor ordered hits the heart. Song Some people say is actually a funny song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
