This four-song debut EP shows the promise that Tenor has. eleven years ago, Tenor briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Recitatif - Air tendre”. Jim Jones has compared writing for Tenor’s new album to that on ‘L’Impatience’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Tenor is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Recitatif - Air tendre motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. The first time I listened to Recitatif - Air leger I was struck by its astounding sound.
