This is the first studio album from Tarun Bhattacharya since bad diagnosis in 1995. Lead single “Rag Ahir Bhairav” and “Dhun Rag Khammaj” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This disc has all of the essential Tarun Bhattacharya classics. Rag Ahir Bhairav and Dhun Rag Khammaj is really good.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Simple and heartfelt closing track Dhun Sindhi Bhairavi closes Sargam on a high note.
