thirteen years ago, Taraf De Haidouks briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “02 Ardeleneasca Sirba Bulgara”. There is no doubt that Taraf De Haidouks has talent. Lead single “01 Rind De Hore” and “02 Ardeleneasca Sirba Bulgara” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Musique Des Tziganes De Rouman constantly brilliant.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.03 Balada Conducatorolui one of the best in my collection. Opening track 04 Sirba Lui Mitica Gindac shows the best of Taraf De Haidouks. 05 Sirba De La Ruseanca is another strong production from Taraf De Haidouks. 06 Dragoste De La Clejani - I just love it. The song feels complete. After you’ve listened to 08 Sirba De La Goalasei, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. 10 Cintec De Superare Tiganesc pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I like the idea behind 11 Jamparale Ca La Vadulat. 12 In Curte La Stefan Voda on Musique Des Tziganes De Rouman is solid and easy to listen to. 13 Cintec De Superare Tiganesc is marvelous and different song. I listened to the opening track 14 Cimpoiu and liked it a lot. One listen to the sheer beauty of 15 Indiaca was all I needed.
